Kingdom Hearts was never simple and clean, despite what the catchy theme song might tell you, but it housed some fantastic musical tracks. From original songs to remixes of Disney classics, fans have a lot to enjoy when it comes to Kingdom Hearts music, that’s why fans are excited about the new rhythm game, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory.
It’s just a cute rhythm game where you listen to awesome music from those beloved games, isn’t it? Hahaha, no. Not at all.
Although the gameplay trailer feels like a fun adventure with great music, the final part shows that it will actually dive into Kairi’s story. Not only will we see a bit of her childhood, but it looks like she will also help Riku find Sora after the strange events of kingdom hearts 3.
They’re also teasing a big Master of Masters unmasking, which fans have wanted to see for a very long time. Is there any chance it’s an older Sora who feels that devoting his life to friendship and helping others was a lie? That would be nice, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Another interesting point about memory melody is that it will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, in addition to the PS4 and Xbox One. It is the first time that a Kingdom Hearts The game has arrived on Switch and hopefully we’ll get ports of the older games soon enough. Here’s hoping that’s the case.
Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later this year.
