Pokémon Sword & Shield Art Director Announces New Game Studio

Pokémon artist James Turner – art director of Pokémon Sword & Shield and designer of fan favorites such as Gigantamax Gengar, Shadow Lugia (from Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness), and Sinistea / Polteageist – has announced that he has left Game Freak and opened a brand new game studio.

Turner has a proven track record of making games before, directing the 3DS rhythm-based platformer HarmoKnight in 2012, and now he and the developer @onebitbeyond (which was behind the cute action-RPG The Swords of Ditto) join forces to form All Possible Futures. And, in Turner style, there’s adorable accompanying art to promote the studio, as well as a game announcement.

Could we get a trailer for that sometime next week? We’ll have to wait and see, but we can’t wait to see what Turner and Onebitbeyond have come up with, and we wish them all the best with their new studio!

You can follow All Possible Futures on Twitter at @apossf. What would you like to see from the studio? Let us know below!
