Producer pursuing his passion for music | Entertainment

For Jermaine Fraser, the desire to venture into music has always been an undeniable passion, and as such, he decided to launch his own record label in 2019.

Operating under the Bee Gee’s Entertainment brand, the budding producer has previously scored singles from reggae acts such as Lutan Fyah, Bescenta, Frenchy Lenez, Harry Toddler, Merciless, General B, Luciano, Swashii and Fantan Mojah.

When asked how his journey started, Fraser shared “I grew up in a musical environment. My dad had a PA system. Sugar Minott’s studio was next door and as such I been exposed to a variety of additional musical influences that led me to be a producer today.”

Last year, Fraser released his first project titled “Cold World”, a juggling beat that includes tracks such as K9ngston K9ng’s Nah Mek Dem Fling Mi Weh and the Swashii Pree like Dem both of which have gained favor in international markets.

“I have to give credit to Swashii as an aspiring star because he opened up many channels for me including an introduction to Suku [of Ward 21] who currently composes all my beats. The journey hasn’t been easy but my friends keep me motivated and the fans recognize good music and support it. I hope to become a household name and a brand that other young producers can take inspiration from, just as others have been able to do for me,” said Fraser.

He then decided to release the beat ‘Badda One’ on January 14. It contains pieces such as Medz Pon Dat by Swashii and Suku, Wear news by Fanton Mojah, blacksmith hammer by Lutan Fyah and Speedometer by Jahfrican.
