It’s that time of year again when we can all show our Christmas spirit by watching classic Christmas movies and singing Christmas carols.

Apple Originals is bringing the perfect Christmas movie this holiday

we should call the latest film adaptation of this popular Christmas story a delightful play. Reynolds will play Clint Briggs, a younger and funnier version of old Ebenezer Scrooge, while Ferrell will portray the ghost of Christmas Present.

The project is an original that will premiere on the Apple TV+ service. It was created by Maximum Effort and Gloria Sanchez Productions, with Sean Anders and John Morris working together as co-writers.

Trailer spotlighting a playful spin-off of the famous Christmas carol

Apple TV+ has just released a preview of their upcoming holiday musical movie, Spirited. Ferrell plays the ghost of the Christmas present: as he talks to a young family about their future, Briggs switches places with him and hears his own story.

The trailer is set to the beat of an animated “tapping sequence”, with the sequence becoming a reality as Reynolds and Ferrell – who are both well known for their comedic sketches – watch each other in what appears to be a dance .

The two actors finally commented on how they followed each other’s movements in perfect sync, which they said was the ultimate sign that it wasn’t planned.

There’s not a lot of plot, but we got a very brief glimpse of what this story will be. I can’t wait for the detailed version!

Definitely gives off the same vibe as A Christmas Carol. The trailer is filled with more visually magical – and hilarious – musical sequences promising to “lift the spirits”. You can also see glimpses of co-star Octavia Spencer throughout.

Alongside Reynolds and Ferrel, the film reunites Octavia Spencer, Patrick Page, Sunita Mani, Loren Woods, Joe Tippett, Marlow Barkley and Jen Tullock.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on November 11 and on AppleTV from November 18.
